Roscoff Brittany

La station : Roscoff is located on the far end of Brittany, on the peninsula of the Morlaix Bay. A corsair city offering a nice weather and strong iodine air, Roscoff is the ideal destination for a spa vacation in Northwestern France.

The soft sanded beaches invite you for a nice restful break. There, relaxation is a way of living, specially at the spa centre of Roscoff. Indeed, this spa centre has an interesting history: it is the cradle of thalassotherapy in France: it is there that the first Spa Centre was created by the Dr Louis Bagot in 1899.

First known as the Marine Institute of Rockroum, the centre was progressively modernized and equipped with the latest materials available. If their efficacy is undeniable, the guests' recoveries are also due to the warm climate and quality of the water and air of Roscoff. Hôtels et résidences :

Hôtel "Thalasstonic"

Directly linked to the spa centre, the Thalasstonic Hotel allies privacy and comfort. Each room is equipped with a TV set, a hair-dryer, a safe and a telephone with direct line.

The hotel's main building offers a magnificent view of the sea, as well as some of the rooms. Other services are available to help make of your stay a complete well-being break: Tea Rooms, shops, beauty salon and hair dressing salon.

Pets are accepted for €6 per day and per pet.

The hotel features 74 rooms spread in 3 categories:

The 'Tradition' Rooms offer quality services: measuring 18sqm, they have either 1 large bed or 2 separate beds, TV, telephone, bathroom (either bathtub or shower), WC, hair-dryer, safe, mini-fridge.

The 'Comfort' Rooms (17sqm) offer, on top of the rest, a large window pane that opens on a balcony.

In the 'Salon' Rooms (30sqm), you shall have more room with a lounge area from which you can relax cosily and enjoy the view from the large window pane.

Accommodation and meals offered for children under 5 years old staying in their parents room.

Pets are also accommodated with a fee.

Hôtel "Les Jardins de Rockroum"

This Residence proposes to you 8 vast studios (for 1 or 2 guests) and 2 rooms (for 2 to 4 guests). The studios measure about 40sqm and both rooms about 60sqm.

The balconies and terraces open on a garden from which you can enjoy everyday. The kitchen are perfectly equipped, and the bathrooms all have showers or bathtubs and WC.

The Jardins de Rockroum are located at about 150 meters from the spa centre.

Each apartment has a color TV, a pay phone and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a parking. Sheets, towels and dishcloths are provided. Heating and tourists taxes are included in the package.

Résidence Les Terrasses de Rockroum

This is a small residence of 14 apartments located only 150 meter away from the spa centre of Roscoff.

Each apartment has a lounge area with a small kitchen area and a large window pane opening on a terrace or balcony.

The apartments are available with either 1 room (for a total of 35sqm) or 2 rooms (for 45sqm total).

A parking is available for you. Sheets, towels and washcloths are provided. Heating and tourists taxes are included in the package.

Restaurant ""L'Armor""

The hotel's restaurant offers a panoramic view of the Ile de Batz.

The Chef proposes a Menu of the Day on which the meals are made up of products fresh from the market.

Every Thursday a “Buffet de la Mer” (Buffet from the Sea) is proposed in every package.

And for those who wish to take on good eating habits while on their spa vacation in Brittany, a Dietetic Formula is also available (with a fee). This formula comes with advices from a dietitian.

Sports et loisirs : In Roscoff you shall be able to enjoy aquatic sports such as land sailing, parasailing... Note also that the spa hotel of Roscoff lends bicycles, it would be the perfect way to discover Brittany in a peculiar way !

And for those who enjoy quieter activities, the Casino of Roscoff is there for you to try out your luck.

There are a lot of things to be seen in Roscoff: the Notre Dame de Croas Batz Church, the Saint Anne and Sainte Barbe chapels, the exotic garden, the aquarium and the old harbor.

And in the surroundings: the Island of Batz, the fishing harbor, the “Côte des Légendes et des Abers” (Legends and Abers Coast), the Enclos Paroissiaux and further: Le Touquet, St Malo and its ramparts.

In Plouescat, not so far from Roscoff, you shall be able to visit a honey factory, its honey extraction techniques and discover the secrets involved in raising queens.

And if you have the time, visit the Oceanopolis in Brest: this gigantic aquarium is divided in pavilions with different climates in each of them. It is really worth the detour. Accès : En voiture
